Lightning claims three lives in Maharashtra

At least three people died and three were injured when lightning struck on them in Maharashtra's Jalna district on Sunday. The incident took place around 1:30 PM while they were working in the field.

Jalna (Maharashtra): Three people were killed and three others were injured of a lightning strike during unseasonal rains and thunderstorm in Maharashtra's Jalna district on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Gyabai Gajanan Naiknavare (35), Sandeep Shankar Pawar (30) and Nagorao Chafle (35).

The incident took place around 1:30 PM while they were working in the field.

The injured were identified as Sumanabai Sahebrao Naiknavare, Sunil Sandeep Pawar and Sachin Nagorao Chafle.

As per sources, The local police rushed to the spot upon receiving the information and sent the bodies for autopsy.
