Mumbai (Maharashtra): Bollywood actor Javed Jaffrey on Friday reached the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office in Mumbai, at a time when the agency is investigating into allegations of a drugs link in Bollywood.
According to reports, Jaffrey spent around 15 minutes at the NCB office. He refused to speak with the media.
However, while leaving, the actor said he had come to the NCB office for some "personal work" and his visit had nothing to do with the drugs case.
Meanwhile, for the second straight day on Thursday, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone's former manager Karishma Prakash appeared before the NCB for questioning in connection with the seizure of drugs from her residence last month.
Earlier yesterday, the NCB has arrested a 30-year-old man who was allegedly supplying drugs to people connected with the film and TV industry.
