For this, a video titled 'Let's go to school, children, let's go to school' has been released by the state school education department. Pune
Classes IX to XII were started a few days ago following the regulations and conditions laid down by the central government. As per last week's statistics, 76 per cent of students are attending their classes. It has been decided to start classes for students of fifth to eighth standards across the state from today. After this, it will be decided to start other classes in phases. These classes have been started with full care and preparation. Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad visited some schools in Pune today and interacted with students from class IX to X. She was talking at the time. Aurangabad
The voices of teachers and students reverberated today in schools that have been missing for the past ten months. In Aurangabad, VI to VIII classes have started from today. Earlier, it was directed to start Class XII at Navi on November 23 but at that point, other classes were not allowed.
Primary schools were also not started. However, Aurangabad has been allowed to start classes VI to VIII from today, though schools in the state have started classes V to VIII from today following an order from the state education department. Outbreaks of Coronavirus have been reported across the country since March 2020. The first order to close schools in the municipal limits was issued to prevent the spread of infection. However, all schools were closed from March 23.
Nashik
As the incidence of Coronavirus is decreasing in Nashik, classes from 9th to 12th followed by 5th to 8th have started today. The school has also made it mandatory for students to wear masks while taking care of students. However, only 25 per cent attendance was seen in the 5th to 8th class on the first day. The school administration has appealed to the parents to send the students to school without any fear. The government has decided to start 5th to 8th schools from today after starting 9th to 12th schools last month. The schools have been started for only two months and the parents have demanded that the government reconsider this decision.
Inability to give consent letter
The state government has decided to start schools but at the same time, it is mandatory for parents to give consent letters to send their kids to school. This has angered many parents and many have shown an inability to give consent letters.
1926 schools reopen in Jalgaon district
The bells of 1926 schools in Jalgaon district rang today. The Department of Education was instructed to take the necessary preventive measures against the backdrop of corona when starting school. It was seen that the schools took measures accordingly. At a time when the corona crisis is receding in the state, school education minister Varsha Gaikwad had announced the decision to start schools from class five to eight. Schools have been closed since the last academic year in the Corona background. The education department had instructed the teachers in the district to test the corona before starting schools from class V to VIII. According to him, about 70 per cent of teachers have undergone Corona tests. Some of the teachers were found to be corona positive and have been ordered to remain quarantined. There are a total of 20 thousand 554 teachers in the district. Out of them, the education department was planning to test 13,000 teachers, informed Bhausaheb Akalade, education officer of the primary education department of the Zilla Parishad.
Kolhapur schools bustle again
After a long period of ten months, schools in the state are once again in full swing from today. Schools from 5th to 8th in Kolhapur have started from today.
Along with government schools, some private schools have also seen children entering the school premises since morning. Students are instructed to follow social distancing norms, use of sanitisers after the screening of each student and parental consent is also made mandatory. Schools were closed for 10 months amidst the outbreak of Coronavirus. Even if it is resumed now, the school administration is writing a letter of consent from the school asking the parents to send their children to school at their own risk. There are a total of 1 thousand 54 schools in Kolhapur district. There are 12 thousand 629 teachers in it. Classes from 5th to 8th have started from today.
In Amravati too, schools reopen after 10 months
Schools have been closed for 10 months due to corona, but now the number of corona patients is being curtailed and now the phased school is slowly reopening. On the first day in Amravati district, there was great enthusiasm among the students and parents. The teachers of the school also welcomed the students and parents with roses. Since the students have been at home for 10 months and the school has started from today, there was enthusiasm and vigour among the students. So the parents are also happy, the state government has started schools in phases. Every teacher was corona tested and parental consent was obtained before sending students to school, while a large number of students attended school on the first day today.
Rural schools in Nagpur open from today
In Nagpur, schools that were closed during the Covid period started from today. Classes 5th to 8th will be started in rural areas of Nagpur. Classes will start in 1,668 schools after 10 months. Nagpur Rural has 1 lakh 48 thousand students from 5th to 8th. Schools will start with the consent of the parents. Also, teachers are required to take RTPCR test. On the other hand, with the disinfection of the school, it has been made mandatory to follow all norms and regulations as a measure to protect against Coronavirus. Schools in urban areas did not start today.
422 schools started in Gondia today
In the second phase, 422 schools from class 5th to 8th have been started in the district and 50 per cent of students attended the school on the first day. Government and private schools in the district started functioning from today. After 10 months, in the second phase, schools from 5th to 8th standard have started today and since March, all private and government schools in the state were closed due to the lockdown imposed due to Coronavirus. However, due to the decline in the influence of corona in the state, in the first phase, schools and colleges for classes 9 to 12 were started. But today 5th to 8th class schools began again.
