Congress-BJP workers clash near RSS headquarters in Nagpur

A scuffle broke out between BJP and Congress workers on Sunday near the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur . BJP workers tried to stop the Congress bike rally against inflation and unemployment near the RSS headquarters.

Nagpur (Maharashtra): A scuffle broke out between BJP and Congress workers on Sunday near the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur. BJP workers tried to stop the Congress bike rally against inflation and unemployment near the RSS headquarters. And, the scuffle caused a stir in the area.

The rally was organized by a Congress corporator Bunty Shelke. When the Congress workers insisted on going through the route in front of headquarters, the BJP workers opposed it. This led to an argument between the activists of both the parties. They started raising slogans at each other and the situation turned from bad to worse.

Sensing trouble, police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control. The cadre from both the parties were repulsed by the police.
