Panaji: Police in Goa rounded up dozens of tourists after they broke up gambling activity at a hotel in Calangute beach, an official said.
Forty-two tourists were detained, Rs 10 lakhs in cash and mobile phones were seized during the raid on Saturday night, according to police.
The tourists - mostly domestic visitors from Gujarat, Maharashtra and Delhi were among the suspected gamblers, reports said.
All of them were booked under a gambling Act, the police said.
Police also said the licence of the hotel where the gambling was held will also be revoked.
