We will call the collector, we will get the number of seats we want: MP minister Imarti Devi

In a viral video, Minister of Women and Child Development under Shivraj Singh Chouhan cabinet, Imarti Devi said that the collector will do whatever the government asks him to do as there is BJP government in the state and collector is a government official.

Gwalior: Ahead of the by-elections to the 27 vacant Madhya Pradesh Assembly seats, a video of Minister Imarti Devi, which has gone viral on social media, can pose a threat to the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in the state.

In the video, the Minister of Women and Child Development is seen addressing the people of her constituency by claiming that Congress cannot win 27 out of 27 seats in by-polls as BJP is in power in Madhya Pradesh. We will call the collector, we will get the number of seats we want.

Her controversial statement has left people in outrage and also raised a question on the administration which can eventually pose a threat for the Shivraj government.

Many similar videos also surfaced online during 2018 Assembly elections.
