Teenage girl raped in MP's Sagar by 4, one absconding

The fourth accused of a minor's rape case in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district is still at large. A 16-year-old girl and her grandfather were on their way to a temple when the four accused obstructed their way, assaulted the elderly man and raped the victim.

Sagar (MP): Three persons were arrestedfor allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh'sSagar district, a senior police official said on Sunday.

"A fourth accused is still at large and efforts wereunderway to nab him," the official added.

Sagar superintendent of police Amit Sanghi said that thegirl and her grandfather were on their way to a temple on ahillock on the outskirts of the city when the four accused obstructed their way, assaulted the elderly man and raped thevictim.

"The incident happened on Friday. Narendra Ahirwar (26), Pradip Sour (35) and Motilal Sour (28) have beenarrested for rape under relevant sections of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act. NoniSour (26) is on the run," Sanghi informed.
