Morena: Two people died while five were injured in a fire exchange between two groups in Babarkheda village of Saraichaula police station area here on Wednesday.
The injured were admitted to a district hospital. Out of which, three were referred to a hospital in Gwalior for treatment.
The fight broke out on Wednesday and we tried to register an FIR in the nearby police station but they asked us to return," said the family members of the deceased.
Ramsahay Gurjar and Babu Gurjar of the same village have been fighting on a land issue for some time.
The sons of Ramsshay Gurjar gathered around 15 people and forcefully entered Babu Gurjar's residence and started firing.
Ramsahay and another person named Bhola died on spot.
SSP Ashutosh Bagri reached the spot and ordered the deployment of police forces in the so that further clash could be avoided.
Dead bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Police are investigating the case for further information.
Meanwhile, the family member of the deceased held the police responsible for this incident.
