MP: 17-year-old labourer dies after crusher machine collapses

A young man, working in a crusher machine, died after getting buried in the rubble. The incident occurred 50 km away from the Sidhi district headquarters in the village Paipkhara under the Majhauli police station. The deceased has been identified as Arjun, 17-year-old, son of Madan Ahirwar and a resident of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh

Sidhi (Madhya Pradesh): A young man, working in a crusher machine, died after getting buried in the rubble. The incident occurred 50 km away the Sidhi district headquarters in the Paipkhara village under the Majhauli police station. The deceased has been identified as Arjun, 17-year-old, son of Madan Ahirwar and a resident of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh

According to the information received, Sai Builders crusher operated in Paipkhara village under Panchayat Majhauli. The crusher machine has been operating on the leased land for many years. Due to the expiry of the lease period, the operator was dismantling the crusher to move it to another place. During this operation, the machine collapsed and three labourers were buried under the crusher machine and the rubble.

On getting information about the incident, the crusher operators rushed to the spot with a JCB machine and tried to save the buried workers by removing the soil. In the rescue work, two labourers were saved, but the neck of the third worker got stuck in the bucket of the JCB machine. Due to which his head was severed from the body.

The incident was reported to Majhauli police. The Majhauli police reached the spot and took the dead body to the mortuary. The relatives of the deceased have informed about the accident to his family.
