Hyderabad: Ahead of the second expansion of his cabinet, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday visited the ashram of religious guru Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at Shamshabad in the outskirt's of the city.
Chouhan, who arrived in the city on Thursday evening met Chinna Jeeyar Swamy , BJP and police sources said.
Mr.Chauhan with his family members took the blessings of the seer Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.
Earlier, on his arrival at the Ashram, the Madhya Pradesh chief minister was given a traditional welcome at the ashram by the priests.
After an overnight stay he will be travelling to Mysuru on Friday, they added.
On Wednesday, Chouhan said that the second expansion of Madhya Pradesh cabinet will take place soon.
The initial 'mini' expansion of the cabinet had taken place on April 21 with the induction of five ministers, nearly a month after Chouhan took oath as the chief minister for a record fourth term.
