Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Harshit Agrawal, a cyber-security researcher who had visited Rome to present a paper at a conference, found himself in a life or death situation when a gang attempted an acid attack on him.
Upon losing his necessary documents, Harshit was stopped from boarding his flight to India. Besides, he was left penniless and failed to even travel to the Indian Embassy in Rome.
Utterly helpless after the fatal attack, The 21-year-old from MIT College, Pune, sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Twitter.

After this, the Indian government and Indian Embassy made necessary arrangements and Harshit was safely brought to India on June 29.
Agarwal who excelled in his field was “adjudged as an excellent cyber-security researcher at MIT Pune. He had recently presented research papers in cyber-security at series of conferences in the US, the Netherlands, Paris and finally at Rome
