Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): There is news of the influx of 5G networks in the country, but there are many areas in Madhya Pradesh which are still craving for 3G and 4G networks. To run mobiles on this network, one still has to climb trees. Everything is happening digitally in the country.
In this nation, which is on the path of modernity, everything is possible with one click, but even in this digital era, things are not so simple in Barwani. Here salesmen sometimes climb trees, sometimes the hill to distribute ration to the people.
This is the situation despite the fact that Barwani is just 150 km from the commercial hub of MP and the central circle of Telecom i.e. MP-Chhattisgarh circle's headquarter at Indore.
The villagers, including the shop manager at the ration shop in the Gram Panchayat Bomya, just 3 to 4 km from the Barwani district headquarters, face trouble due to lack of network in the POS (Point of sale) machine. Online studies in schools are also being adversely affected. Also, the necessary functions of the panchayat have also stalled due to lack of network.

Due to the onslaught of Coronavirus, online education has been given priority, but far from studying online in Bomya village, due to network problems, people have to worry about getting things from the ration shops. Due to lack of network in the POS machine, the salesman climbs a tree endangering his life. Network is barely available and only four to five people are able to get ration in a day.
Only 55 people have received ration
The situation is such that out of 700 consumers in the village, so far only 55 have been able to get ration. So far, the authorities have not given any guidelines for distribution of offline rations, due to which the villagers are in a dilemma.
Elders returning disappointed
POS machines are unable to find networks sometimes, even on the trees. In such a situation, elderly consumers have to return disappointed after not getting a ration. At the same time, the working-class consumers of the area are also upset by not receiving ration because they have to leave their daily wage work and stand in line, but due to lack of network, they have to return home empty-handed every day. In the digital era, the problem of the network is troubling the villagers these days who are unable to get ration from the shops.
