Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government has decided to add chapters based on RSS founder Dr Hedgewar and BJP's Deendayal Upadhyaya in the course of MBBS students. The matter came to light after a notice written by Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang containing the inclusion of chapters on RSS leaders in the MBBS course got leaked.
According to the minister, the principles of the country's thinkers and value-based medical education are being included for the intellectual development of the students. He further added that the chapters on thinkers like Maharishi Charak, Ayurveda scholar Acharya Sushruta and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar will also be included in the course.
According to the notice, the chapters based on the thinkers will be inducted into the courses from this session only.
Congress lashed out over the BJP following the issue saying that the saffron party wants to implies RSS mentality everywhere. Meanwhile, Minister Vishwas Sarang replied to the Congress saying that the chapters based on the thinkers will increase the knowledge of the students about these great people. Taking a jibe at BJP, Congress spokesperson KK Mishra said that veterinary doctor Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and late thinker Kailash Sarang should also be included in the lesson.
