Gwalior: Two people who recently recovered from COVID19 were found suffering from both the Black and White Fungus infection in Madhya Pradesh.
In Gwalior, doctors have successfully operated on one of the patients. Earlier, the patient had tested Covid positive. He recovered from Covid but later developed swelling and pain in his eyes.
He was diagnosed with both the variants of Black and White Fungus.

Another similar case was also detected from Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. A 42-year-old patient was found with both Black and White Fungus in his windpipe. The patient is currently undergoing treatment in Hamidia Hospital.
His lower windpipe is infected with Black Fungus while his upper windpipe is infected with White Fungus.

Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh government has started a campaign to stop and treat the disease of Black Fungus in the state. Covid and non-Covid patients are undergoing Nasal Endoscopy to check the presence of Black and White Fungus.
