As rescue teams retrieved bodies from the debris and the river in Pettimudi in the search operations, Koovi's owners could not be traced.

Finally on Friday, Koovi himself located the lifeless body of his little playmate Dhanushka. The body of the two-year-old was found blocked by a tree that had been lying under a bridge.

The Fire and Rescue personnel and the Police team were searching for the missing persons around the gravel bank area, about four kilometres away from Pettimudi.
