Thiruvananthapuram: Even as most other states in India are reportedly scrambling for the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits for their health workers to treat novel coronavirus positive patients, Kerala, setting yet another example, provides PPE kits to the police personnel, who are to closely interact with those in COVID-19 isolation, besides health workers.
As some police personnel are having to closely interact with the patients, the PPE kits, usually meant for health workers, have been provided to the cops too.
