Jaleel need not resign: CPM State Secretariat

The CPM State Secretariat decided that the LDF Minister K T Jaleel need not resign from his office in the name of the current political allegations. They are of the stance that there is no question of righteousness as K T Jaleel is not yet listed as an accused in the case by the investigating agency.

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM State Secretariat decided that the LDF Minister K T Jaleel need not resign from his office in the name of the current political allegations.

In the name of protests, the BJP and Congress parties have brought in goondas and tried to instigate conflict and chaos, observed the CPM State Secretariat. The interrogation of Minister Jaleel by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the following political scenario was examined in detail by the CPM State Secretariat.

The CPM State Secretariat concluded that until K T Jaleel is listed as an accused in the case by the investigating agency, there is no question of righteousness.

Jaleel had clarified to the State Secretariat that he had used a private vehicle instead of his official vehicle while travelling to the NIA office for safety reasons. The Secretariat was also convinced by that explanation.

The CPM has decided to organise truth campaigns to present the actual facts and truths behind the false propaganda by the opposition parties on the gold smuggling case and the later controversies. The allegations against the leaders’ children will be ignored.

The CPM Secretariat has also decided to that the weapon of their campaign will be the point that the Congress is silent towards V Muralidharan.

The Opposition is getting into violent clashes in the name of protests. The Congress and the BJP have been using goondas for this chaos in the name of protests. They are attempting to fail the law and order situation deliberately, the CPM Secretariat observed.
