Kannur: Acting on a sexual harassment complaint from a young woman, a team of police personnel picked an ENT doctor from his clinic in Sreekandapuram in Kannur district of Kerala on Friday.
According to the complainant, Dr Prashanth Naik had sexually abused her while she consulted him for ear pain at his clinic on Tuesday. The woman had visited the SMC clinic functioning behind the Sreekandapuram bus stand on Tuesday as she was suffering from ache in the ear.
The woman, who had reached the clinic at 11 am, was told to wait after administering ear drops. She was called in again for further examination only after all other patients left the clinic.
