Minister's mother watches his funeral on video line

Owing to the COVID-19 restrictions, mother of Suresh Angadi, who passed away at the AIIMS in Delhi on Wednesday, was not able to participate in her son's funeral. She watched it on a Whatsapp video call from her hometown Belagavi.

Belagavi (Karnataka): Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, on Wednesday after being infected by Corona. His funeral took place at Lingayat Cemetery of Delhi.

Somavva, mother of Suresh Angadi was not able to participate in the funeral of her son due to the COVID-19 restrictions. She viewed the funeral of her son through a Whatsapp call from her hometown Belagavi.

Only 25 people were allowed to participate directly in Angadi's funeral. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, other relatives of Angadi also viewed the funerals on the video call. Angadi's wife, two daughters, and brothers attended the funeral in Delhi.
