Karnataka polls 2023: PM Modi, Rahul, Priyanka to campaign today

The BJP, which is facing a tough fight from rivals, is looking to step up its campaign for the high-voltage polls. The southern state is witnessing a close contest between the BJP and its rivals for the throne.

Bengaluru: Karnataka is going to witness a high-pitch campaign trail which will be hit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kickstart the BJP's second round of campaigning in Karnataka on the day. The PM will hold a poll rally and road show in Chitradurga, Hospet, Sindanur, Kalaburagi in during the campaign trail. He will participate at a public meeting at Chitradurga at 11 am on the day. Later, he will address another rally at Hospet, Vijayanagar district headquarters.

His next meet is scheduled at Sindhanur in Raichur district at 4 pm. At 6.30 pm, Modi will conduct a road show in Kalaburagi, the home district of AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge. After a night's halt there, the prime minister will arrive at Mangalore on Wednesday, party sources said.

Meanwhile, the BJP, which is facing a tough fight from rivals, is looking to step up its campaign for the high-voltage polls. The campaign of opposition parties has also gathered momentum. The southern state is witnessing a close contest between the BJP and its rivals for the throne. Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is spearheading her party's campaign in the state.

She will also campaign in four places today. She will attend a public meeting at Mandya today at 12 noon. Later, She will hold a road show at Chintamani, Kolar at 4 pm.

At 5.30 pm, Priyanka will participate at a roadshow held in Hoskote, a Bangalore suburb. At 7.15 pm, the Congress General Secretary will conduct a road show at CV Raman Nagar in Bengaluru.

Rahul Gandhi will also participate at a public function in Theerthahalli in Shimoga district at 11.30 am. Gandhi will attend another public meeting at Harihara in Davangere district at 1.20 pm.
