Man dies after consuming Ayurvedic medicine in Sirsi

A man died while his father is seriously ill after the father-son duo allegedly consumed some Ayurvedic medicine in a bid to prevent coronavirus.

Sirsi (Karnataka): A man died while his father's condition is said to be serious after they allegedly consumed Ayurvedic medicine to prevent coronavirus. The incident took place in Ramanbail of the Sirsi Taluk.

The father-son duo, Anthony (70) and Francis Regho (42), drank some ayurvedic medicine in a bid to prevent contracting the coronavirus. But the son, Francis, died of a side effect of this drug. Anthony, who had fallen ill, was later taken to the Government Hospital in Sirsi.
