Newborn baby found dumped in water pipe in Belgaum

A baby was found dumped near a primary health center in Savadatti taluk of the district. It was rescued by the locals, Asha workers, and Anganwadi activists.

Belgaum: A newborn baby was found dumped in a water pipe on the roadside in Chachadi village, Karnataka.

The baby was found dumped near the primary health center in Chachadi village in Savadatti taluk of the district.

Local people, Asha workers, and Anganwadi activists rescued the baby after which its health check was done at the village primary health center.

Currently, the infant is under the care of the villagers.

Sub-Inspector of Police (PSI), Murgoda visited the spot and inspected the area.

The inhumane incident has left villagers angry.
