Muslim man draws Lord Ganesha paintings in Karnataka

Setting an example of peace and harmony ahead of Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, a Muslim man has drawn paintings of Lord Ganesha in Karnataka's Vijayapura district. He has drawn more than 20 types of Ganesha's paintings so far.

Vijayapura (Karnataka): As a perfect example of communal harmony during the Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, a Muslim man has drawn paintings of Lord Ganesha in Karnataka's Vijayapura district.

Mustaka Tikota is a devotee of Lord Ganesha and has a hobby of painting. He has drawn more than 20 types of Ganesha paintings so far.

Speaking to media, Tikota said, "I have been interested in painting since childhood. I don't sell my paintings to earn money. I draw them and exhibit for people during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi to spread the message of peace and harmony."

Lately, Tikota has been keeping busy making paintings of the Hindu deity Lord Ganesha, ahead of the festival of Ganesha Chaturthi, which is celebrated with great fervour in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
