Mandya: Four students, including two girls, were assaulted by a group of men near Nelligere cross in Nagamangala Taluk, Mandya on Sunday.
The students were travelling in a car when they were stopped by a vigilante group which bashed them in the name of moral policing.
One of the members of the group recorded the whole incident and posted it on social media in order to blackmail the students.
After the video made rounds on social media, one of the students reported the whole incident to the police.
The Nagamangala police have lodged a complaint and are probing the case.
