Chikkamagaluru: A doctor in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru district was discharged from a dedicated quarantine centre after it emerged that he had been wrongly diagnosed with COVID-19.
As per reports, multiple tests conducted in different labs showed that he had never contracted coronavirus. All the close contacts of the doctor have also tested negative.
It is to be noted that the doctor was flagged as a COVID-19 patient after a random test conducted a week ago. Subsequently, he was quarantined in a dedicated quarantine centre.
