Shivamogga (Karnataka): As the coronavirus pandemic forced people to stay home, a boy in Karnataka used the time to find a place for himself in the record books.
Abhishek, a resident of Shivamogga, is a student of BBA in Aviation and Hospitality Management Technology at the Vidyalakshmi Group of Institute in Brahmavar. During the lockdown, Abhishek took up the rare hobby of counting millet grains and he counted 4,04,882 grains in one kilogram of millet, earning himself a place in the India Book of Records.
Abhishek took 87 hours and 35 minutes to count the grains, which was videotaped before his claim was verified by the India World Records Foundation.
