Engineer works in agricultural land as he lost job due to corona lockdown

An engineer from Kadadi village of Gadag district is working in an agricultural field to earn his livelihood and support his family. Working as an engineer in a private company in Bangalore, Sadananda is out of work as the company is closed down due to the lockdown. Sadananda is currently working under NREGA.

Gadag (Karnataka): An Engineer from Kadadi village of Gadag district is working in an agricultural land.

The engineer, named Sadananda Mukkannavar, has a degree in Electronics, and worked as an engineer at a private company in Bangalore. But currently the company remains closed due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown. So he returned to his village.

Sadananda hasn't yet received a phone call from the company. Hence he didn't have to option of work from home. For maintaining his family expenses he decided to work in the field.

Currently he is working under the NREGA plan, earning a little money, so he can lead his family.
