Chikmagalur (Karnataka): Woman cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy's mother Cheluvamba (63) passed away due to Covid-19 at Kaduru taluk in Chikkkamagaluru district.
Cheluwamba died at a private hospital at Kadru on Saturday morning.
She was hospitalized four days ago. Indian cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy hails from Kaduru, a small town in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru district.

Karnataka has a total of 1,274,959 cases of Covid-19 with 26,962 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. Karnataka has reported 14,075 deaths.
