A man in Karnataka's Bengaluru was arrested by the police for his objectionable post on coronavirus.

Bengaluru: A resident of Karnataka's Bengaluru was arrested on Friday for his objectionable post on social media in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

He posted his picture and captioned, "Let's join hands, go out and sneeze with open mouth in public."

"Spread the virus," he added. In the picture, in bold, it was written, "SPREAD THE WORD, TO END THE WORLD."

However the man was later arrested by the police.

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country rose to 724 on Friday, while 17 people have succumbed to the deadly virus.
