Arun Singh to visit Karnataka to solve internal conflict between BJP leaders

BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh will visit Karnataka to meet the rebel MLAs to address their concerns. He will be submitting a comprehensive report to the BJP high command giving a solution to internal conflicts between party leaders in the state.

Bengaluru: National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Arun Singh is scheduled to visit Karnataka to meet the rebel MLAs to address their concerns. He will embark on his three-day visit to the state on June 16 or 17 after he was given the responsibility to review the situation and resolve issues in the Karnataka unit of BJP by the high command. Singh is likely to analyse the opinions of Chief Minister YS Yediyurappa's supporters and the rebel MLAs.

Owing to Covid-induced lockdown in the state, Singh has decided to hold a one-to-one conversation with all the MLAs and discuss issues including the proposal of change in state leadership and resentment against the Chief Minister. Singh will hold a separate meetings with rebel MLAs including Basanagowda Patil Yatnal, Arvind Bellad, Sunil Kumar and CP Yogeshwar who are likely to press for their demand for change in leadership.

According to sources, rebels MLAs will also raise the issues of BY Vijayendra's intervention into the state administration, the Karnataka government's failure in Covid control and the need for alternative leadership among others. Following this, Singh will hold discussions with Yediyurappa supporters including MP Renukacharya, DCM Govinda Karajola and Ashwaththa Narayana to counter the issues of rebel MLAs.

A meeting of Arun Singh and BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel is also scheduled to discuss the opinion of leaders with a neutral stance. After his visit, Singh will submit a comprehensive report to the BJP high command giving a solution to internal conflicts between party leaders in the state.
