New Delhi: Media in-charge of Jharkhand Congress, Rajesh Thakur on Wednesday said that by mutual consent the seat sharing in the Jharkhand grand coalition and the selection of seats was officially announced, Palamu seat was given to RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) while Chatra was given to Congress.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Rajesh said, "RJD has fielded Subhash Yadav from Chatra constituency. Congress has fielded a candidate for the Chatra seat but there will not be any candidate from Congress for the Palamu constituency."
He further added: "Congress President Ajay Kumar left his Jamshedpur seat for JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha). RJD should learn from leaders of the grand alliance."
"The candidate who has been nominated by the RJD from Chatra is not a powerful leader, it is expected that RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav are noticing and everything will get better soon. Even if RJD fights election from Chatra constituency it will not benefit BJP, because BJP itself is searching for the candidates for Chatra as well as Koderma," he said.
