Ranchi bizman found dead; says in recorded video his wife killed him

A video of a Ranchi-based businessman, who was allegedly poisoned to death, has gone viral. In the video, he has accused his wife of killing him by feeding him poisonous pills. He seems to have recorded the video after consuming the pills.

The deceased has been identified as Premjit Prasad, a hotelier at the Naga Baba Khatal area in Ranchi.

In the video, Prasad claimed that he was constantly tortured by his wife and in-laws even after one year of their marriage. He said they fixed him in dowry and sexual assault cases among others.

Police said the deceased shared the video on Tuesday and the same day his dead body was found near a football ground.

Police have sent the body for postmortem.
