Ranchi (Jharkhand): Jharkhand minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
He had been suffering from fever, cough and cold for the last few days, pertaining to which his samples were sent for testing.

It is being ascertained that his security guards, driver and several ministers who came in contact with him might also be infected with the coronavirus.
Samples of everyone who came in contact with Thakur are yet to be sent for testing.
A total of 141 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Ranchi on Tuesday.
