Bokaro (Jharkhand): Family members of a man from Bokaro, who recently died in an accident in Dubai, appealed for Chief Minister Hemant Soren's help to bring his body back to India.
Mohammad Zahid Akhtar, a resident of Makhdumpur in Bokaro district, used to work in Dubai as a labourer, his family members said.
After the family was informed of Akhtar's death in an accident, a few members from the community tweeted to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, seeking his help to bring the body back for the final rites.
"Our appeal to the government is that his body be brought back safely from Dubai," said an official from the Haisabatu East Panchayat.
