Ranchi: Three children were electrocuted and two severely injured in Pakur district of Jharkhand after rain wreaked havoc, a source said on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Babudhan Soren (4), Jeetharam Hembram (12) and Alosone Soren (15). According to the reports, two other children have been admitted to the Community Health Center for treatment.

"It was raining heavily, these five children went out to pick mangoes that is when the lightening struck and fell on a nearby tree supposedly," a relative of the deceased added.
