Hours after SP media briefing, criminals run away with police vehicle

Two accused arrested in a murder case ran away with police vehicle from the custody hours after the Jharkhand's Sahibgang SP conducted a press conference. Police recovered the vehicle but the accused are still absconding.

Sahibgang (Jharkhand): Hours after Jharkhand's Sahibgang SP did a press conference on Monday regarding the arrest of two accused arrested in a murder case, both of them flew away driving the police vehicle.

According to the reports, a dead body was recovered on November 9 in a local river in Sahibgang. After inspecting, police listed four accused in the murder case in which two were arrested on Monday.

According to SP, police officials were preparing documents to take them to court. In the meantime, two of them took the police vehicle and ran away.

Meanwhile, hours of struggle resulted in the detection of the police vehicle, but the criminals are still absconding from police custody.
