Ranchi: BJP MP Kariya Munda on Monday alleged that their party would not get a single vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand, as people believe that Chief Minister Raghubar Das was not working upto the potential.
He, however, claimed that BJP would get votes in the name of Narendra Modi.
The former Lok Sabha speaker, along with 47 prominent and inspiring personalities, was honoured with Padma Bhushan for his social services by President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday.
With the announcement of 2019 Lok Sabha election dates, Munda said that he and his party were ready for the upcoming challenge.
"We are always ready. We listen to public grievances and solve it as soon as possible," he said.
On the question of contesting Lok Sabha elections, Munda said, "If the party says so, I am ready to contest."
