Ranchi (Jharkhand): An assistant sub-inspector of police was found murdered in Jharkhand's Ranchi on Friday.
According to reports, the deceased has been identified as ASI Kameshwar Ravidas, whose body was found at a stone quarry in Tupudana.
Though his original posting was at Ranchi's RIMS Hospital, he was deployed at Tupudana OP.
According to reports, Ravidas was murdered with a rock, following which his body was thrown 200 feet below in the quarry.
Meanwhile, police officials have reached the spot and have begun investigating into the matter.
It is being suspected that the murder was committed during the consumption of alcohol.
