300 migrant workers out of 480 positive cases in Jharkhand

According to Jharkhand's health department data, till now 480 positive cases have been detected in the state. Of these, 300 are migrant labourers.

Ranchi: The migrant workers have increased the tally of coronavirus cases in Jharkhand, if the health department data is to be believed.

According to the health department data, till now 480 positive cases have been detected in the state. Of these, 300 are migrant labourers.

As per the data, till now 4.60 lakh migrant workers have returned to the state by trains and other means of transportation.

Of the 300 migrant labourers, 57 belong to Garwah district of the state. Four pregnant women have also been found coronavirus positive cases in the state.

Ranchi, which was earlier in Red Zone, has been converted into Orange Zone now. Of the 120 cases, 101 have been cured and discharged from various hospitals.

Around 90,000 migrant labourers who returned to the state since May 1 have been put in the state government-run quarantine centres.
