Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik has said that if everyone works together for overall development of the state, then people at the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) will wish to cross over to the valley and become part of India.
Addressing a gathering, Malik claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shared the same vision of Jammu and kashmir shinning when he took oath as the Governor of the state.
"If we are able to take Jammu and Kashmir to the path of development, which is very much possible, the day is not far when the PoK residents, facing worst situation under the occupation of Pakistan, will race towards us on their own to be part of India," said Malik.
Pakistan premier Imran Khan had earlier said that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) people are waiting for his signal to march towards the LoC.
The governor earlier after inaugurating a government medical college in Kathua district expressed satisfaction with the work done by him as state governor.
