Kulgam: Security forces claimed on Wednesday that they arrested a militant and three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
According to officials, the four were arrested by police along with 9 Rashtriya Rifles at a checkpoint near Bogund-Kulgam road while they were travelling in a vehicle.
The arrested militant has been identified as Zeyan Ahmad Dar from Baramulla. Dar was missing from a seminary in Shopian since last month.

Officials said the three alleged OGWs have been identified as Zahid Nazir, Umer Yousuf and Muzafar Ahmed and all of them belong to South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The militant outfit affiliation of the four is being ascertained, officials added.
