Kashmir: Kashmiri pandits who cleared the exams for government jobs in the year 2010 under Prime Minister's package continued with their protest for 45th-day demanding the release of the list for the remaining candidates.
These 45 unemployed Kashmiri Pandit candidates have been waiting for three years and when the Government did not respond to their requests, they were forced to protest on the streets.
Deepak, a Kashmiri migrant Pandit involved in the protest said that "the government has failed to solve the problems of Kashmiri migrant Pandits. We feel that our only fault is that we belong to the Kashmiri Pandit community."
He said that in this era of Corona they have been forced to protest and till date, no officer has come from the Jammu and Kashmir administration to listen to their demands.

He added, "If the Jammu and Kashmir administration and the central government did not meet our demands, we would intensify the protest."
The protestors added that the government is not serious in providing jobs to the youth under the special package of Migrant Pandits. This is the reason why the list has not been released carrying names of 45 candidates.
