Baramulla: Unidentified gunmen hurled a grenade at an army barricade in Baramulla's Azadgunj, injuring six civilians.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two of them are said to be in critical condition.
The incident took place at around 1 am today. The army was stationed at Azadgunj Bridge as usual when suddenly unknown persons hurled a grenade at the party.
Officials said the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, causing injuries to six civilians.
After the attack the army took control of the area and launched a massive search operation.
