Srinagar: Days after two policemen and two civilians were killed in north Kashmir's Sopore town in a shootout, security forces on Monday put out 'wanted' posters of 'three Lashkar-e-Toiba militants. The posters announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh each for information leading to the arrest of the three alleged militants, all residents of Sopore town.
The posters were pasted at several places in the town and have pictures of the three men, identified as Mudasir Ahmad Pandit, a resident of Bonpora Dangerpora (Sopore), Khursheed Ahmad Mir, a resident of Brath-Kallan (Sopore) and Fayaz Ahmad War, a resident of Warpora (Sopore).

On Saturday, Inspector General of Police (Kashmir) had claimed, "two local militants involved in the attack have been identified and security forces are on the job and they will be tracked down at the earliest." Meanwhile, police have also rounded up some suspects from the town.
According to police, cordon and search operations were carried out at Zaingair, Nowpora Kalan, Dangerpora and Sopore town on Saturday afternoon. "Some suspects have been detained and further investigations are underway," a police official said.
