J&K: Family appeals missing Bandipora youth to come back home

Azad Ahmad Shah, son of Mohammad Yusuf Shah left from his home on June 19 and has been missing since then. His family, in a video message, has appealed him to return home soon.

Bandipora: The family members of a 28-year-old youth, who went missing from his home in Bagh area of Bandipora district of Kashmir on June 19, have appealed him to return home.

Azad Ahmad Shah, son of Mohammad Yusuf Shah left from his home on June 19 and has been missing since then.

As per the family members, Azad has completed his master's degree in Computer Applications from Srinagar and has been running a computer institute near his home.

They said that since Azad went missing, they have been searching for him everywhere but to no avail.

"He left home for some work but did not return. Although we tried to contact his friends and relatives, we did not get any clue about his whereabouts,'' Azad's brother-in-law Tariq Ahmad Shah said.

Shah also said that Azad's phone was switched off since the time he left home.

"Not sure whether he has joined any militant group or not, but if he has, we request him to come back soon for the sake of his parents. His mother and sister have been crying like anything ever since he has gone missing" Shah added.

The family members urged Azad to return as they all are left shattered since his disappearance.

They have also released a video on online platforms appealing him to return. The video went viral on social media.
