Una (Himachal Pradesh): Trilochan Singh was just 16 years old when he lost his eyes in an accident. Despite this, he fought with his courage against all odds and is running a flour mill by himself.
After losing his eyes, Trilochan took up his ancestral job of grinding flour. Singh, who is now aged 62, still working in a flour mill.
While working in a mill, several technical aspects have to be taken care of. Despite this, his confidence led him to leave a life of the saga.
People are stunned to see his confidence
Not only wheat but also he grinds pulses, rice and spices. He also managed to work like weighing of the commodities and take care of money transactions. He knew how every machine was kept in the flour mill.
Since the mill has electric machines, there is danger in doing these works but Trilochan performs all these tasks efficiently.
Believe in yourself
Trilochan Singh's brother Balwant Singh says that though his brother is blind for the last 40 years, he can perform all the works in the flour mill. He identifies all the currency notes given by the customers.
The smile of Trilochan's face tells us that to be happy in life, it is not necessary that you should have everything, but there must be a purpose to live.
