Sirsa (Haryana): Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader and MLA from Ellenabad constituency, Abhay Singh Chautala on Tuesday violated the lockdown norms as well as the social distancing measures to combat the deadly virus, a source said.
He reportedly paid a visit to Mandi Dabwali in Sirsa to look into the problems faced by farmers and jobbers. In a video, the MLA can be seen addressing a large gathering and thus violating lockdown rules in force to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
Slamming the central government, he said that the present government's policies are to be blamed for the hardships that farmers are having to go through.

"Farmers are not being able to generate profit, they are selling their crops at a lower price which is why most of the farmers have turned against the incumbent government," Singh added.
He further alleged government, stating that the policies enforced during the coronavirus crisis are compelling farmers to stage a protest instead of following any social distancing.
However, the MLA, a few days ago advised people of Haryana to follow the social distancing protocol and provided masks and PPEs to the healthcare workers.
Meanwhile, Haryana has recorded 254 COVID-19 positive cases so far with three casualties reported in the state.
