Chandigarh: Reacting to the video of the Karnal SDM, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that he has also seen the video of the incident in Karnal.
The CM said that the officer's job was to enforce restrictions and he should not have spoken those words. Earlier, Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala had also talked about taking action against the SDM.
Speaking to the media, CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that it was the job of the official to maintain law and order, but the choice of words should have been better.
Defending the harsh attitude of the official, Khattar said that when forces try to enforce law and order many things happen.
"He should not have said those words but to say that he shouldn't have used strictness is not right," Khattar said.
