Kaithal (Haryana): Sultan, a buffalo of Budha Kheda village in Haryana's Kaithal district has been priced at a rate higher than a luxury car.
This particular 1200-kg-weight buffalo is a genuine celebrity, drawing bigger crowds than many politicians with his oiled body, a smooth grey-black hide and glittering eyes.
Sultan is 6 feet long and value is worth Rs 21 crore. Despite the high value, the owner of Sultan is in no mood to part with his animal.
The owner of Sultan, Naresh said that he loves his buffalo more than anything in this world and he doesn't want to sell him.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Naresh said, "Sultan consumes 15 kgs apples and 20 kgs of carrots per day. Sultan is a member of our family and he has been a champion in different competitions more than 7 times."
"Apart from all these, Sultan ejaculates more than 30,000 semen doses per year which are sold at Rs 300 per dose. I spend almost Rs 2500 a day on Sultan. I earn more than Rs 90 lakh per year as there is a huge demand for his semen in the state," Naresh added.
