New Delhi: After facing defeat in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, Haryana Congress held a review meeting in the national capital on Tuesday.
After the meeting was over, former minister of finance (Haryana) Ajay Singh Yadav told the media that the party would work according to the programme fabricated by senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad.
"The party has planned to work together till booth level," said Yadav.
He also said that the crime rate in Haryana was high due to the substandard law and order. "Women are not safe in Haryana and we hear about rape cases every day and I consider BJP to be responsible for everything, from inflation to unemployment," added Ajay.
Kiran Choudhry, leader of Congress legislative party (Haryana), also attended the meeting and said that Congress had started making plans for the future from the grassroot level and the candidates would collect feedback from their respective constituencies.
Legislative Assembly elections in Haryana would be held in the coming month of October.
